I had no idea what a Midori/Travelers Notebook was and decided to explore this shop. I also joined a group - Jendori Notebook Fans on Facebook so I could learn more about this interesting "Jendori" as folks are calling it. I was so overwhelmed with all of the different sizes, styles, colors and add ons and the group really helped me learn a lot.
I ordered a Crème Brûlée Pocket size journal in Black Beauty with an inscription on the front and a riveted pen holder. After I ordered I realized I had forgotten to ask if the rivets could be brass colored so I sent Jennifer - the owner - a message and she had no problem adding that to my order and was just as sweet as could be. What a wonderful lady to talk and work with. Well one week later - today actually - it arrived. It was wrapped so nicely and the smell of the leather was just intoxicating. The kind of leather smell that you just want to hold the journal at your nose all day lol
The leather is just so smooth and soft. Nice thickness to the leather which I love. The inscription is just perfect. I absolutely love the riveted pen holder and well just everything there is about this journal. The workmanship is above and beyond. I am just so happy to have this.
So in conclusion of this review I highly recommend Chic Sparrow and please if you get a chance stop by Jennifer's shop and check out all of the wonderful journals she has to offer. You won't be disappointed.
